“Terrorism – Today’s Plague: Causes and Academic and Intellectual Solutions”

Seeking to promote scientific research in addressing developmental and civilizational issues of the Muslim World, and with a view to encouraging scientists and researchers in the Member Universities in valorizing their efforts and diligence, the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), is pleased to call for nominations for its annual prize on the theme “Terrorism – Today’s Plague: Causes and Academic and Intellectual Solutions”.
The Prize comprises two categories:
First category: dedicated to researchers and will be awarded to the best researcher with outstanding contribution throughout his/her academic career to the theme of the prize
Second category: destined for research works and will be awarded for the best research in the field covered by the prize.
The Prize will be awarded jointly by the Federation and Al Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Nomination letters and researches should be submitted by 31 August 2016, as indicated in the following link:

“Economics of Higher Education and its Societal Impact”

As part of its endeavours to promote scientific research and tune it to development needs in the Muslim world, and in a bid to encourage scientists and researchers to increase visibility for their works, the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), in cooperation with Al Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for its Prize for 2013 on the theme “Economics of Higher Education and its Societal Impact”. Submissions should be received by 15 November 2013, subject to the conditions and requirements detailed below.

 

Conditions for nomination :

  • Nominations should be submitted in Arabic, English or French by one of the universities or academic institutions that are members of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World.
  • The works nominated should be original, of high quality, already published and beneficial to humanity.
  • The official nomination letter should include the nominee's full name and address, reasons for his/her nomination and a detailed account of his/her achievements.

 

The nominee's letter should contain :

  • The nominee's curriculum vitae together with a list of his/her published works.
  • List of nominated works.
  • Three (3) copies of the nominated researches (not more than three (3) best researches).
  • A recent, coloured and high-resolution photo of the nominee (15x10 cm).
  • Form of general information to be filled in by the nominee.
