As part of the preparation for the 2nd edition of KSAAEM: the technical team of the Award’s General Secretariat holds a meeting at ISESCO headquarters

Today morning, at the headquarters of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), the technical team of the General Secretariat of the Award of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Environmental Management in the Islamic World (KSAAEM) held a meeting. The meeting, which was presided over by Mr Mohamed Ghemari, Coordinator of KSAAEM General Secretariat, brought together Mr Najib Rhiati, Director of Culture at ISESCO; Dr El Mahjoub Bensaid, Supervisor of the Centre of Information and Communication; Ms Wafa El Alami, Supervisor of the Centre of Information, Documentation and Publishing; Dr Abdelmajid Tribak, Expert at the Directorate of Sciences and Technology, supervisor of KSAAEM’s academic affairs; Mr Ali Akdim, Assistant at the KSAAEM Secretariat; and Mr Wassim Bayram, Computer Engineer at the Centre of Information, Documentation and Publishing.

The meeting examined the remarks and suggestions included in the report of the meeting of the working group of the General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on 24 December 2018, and the report of the meeting of the technical team of KSAAEM General Secretariat, held at ISESCO headquarters, in Rabat on 12 December 2018. The participants also examined the technical, academic and information aspects regarding the 2nd edition of KSAAEM (2018-2019), assessed the accomplished achievements and identified the difficulties faced. The meeting also determined a number of executive measures to develop the technical and information performance of the Award to be submitted to the technical group of the General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as part of consultation, coordination and cooperation.
