Signing of agreement between ISESCO and the Tunisian Ministry of Cultural Affairs on arrangements for holding 11th Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers
Today, in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, an agreement was signed between the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Ministry of Cultural Affairs of the Republic of Tunisia on arrangements for holding the 11th Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers. The Agreement was concluded at the close of the opening session of the Extraordinary Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers, held under the high patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain; and was co-signed for ISESCO by its Director General, Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, and for the Ministry by Dr Mohamed Zine El-Abidine, Tunisian Minister of Cultural Affairs.
The agreement features a number of measures, arrangements and commitments pertaining to the organizational, academic and financial aspects of the Conference, to be held in Tunis, on 17-19 December 2
019 under the patronage of H.E. President of the Republic of Tunisia.
The agreement provides for the organization of the 17th Meeting of the Consultative Council of Cultural Development in the Islamic World, in Tunis, on 17-18 September 2019, to discuss and adopt the draft documents and resolutions of the 11th Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers; and the 2nd Meeting of the Preparatory Joint Commission for the 11th Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers, in Tunis, on 19-20 September 2019, to agree with the party concerned in the Republic of Tunisia on the final arrangements for holding the Conference and the closing ceremony of the Celebration; and visit the respective venues of the ceremony and the Conference as well as the participants’ places of accommodations.
