ISESCO Director General takes part in an international conference on ‘Improving interfaith and inter-civilizational dialogue to cooperation’

The Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, participates at the International high-level Conference on “Improving interfaith and inter-civilizational dialogue to cooperation’, organized by Baku International Centre for Interfaith and Inter-Civilizational Cooperation, in Berlin, Germany, on 19 November 2018.

The Conference brings together a number of political, diplomatic and intellectual figures, religious leaders, experts from all over the world, and representatives of many regional and international organizations and research centers interested in the issues of intercultural and interfaith dialogue.

The Conference will discuss a number of themes relevant to improving interfaith and intercultural dialogue; promoting cooperation to disseminate the values of peace, tolerance and coexistence among peoples, and raising awareness of the risks posed by violence, extremism, hate speech and racial discrimination against religious minorities, migrants and refugees.
