ISESCO Director General commends Moroccan King’s call to create a mechanism for dialogue and consultation between Morocco and Algeria 

The Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, commended the initiative of King Mohamed VI of Morocco wherein he called for the creation of a joint political mechanism for dialogue and consultation between Morocco and Algeria to honestly and objectively examine all the common issues with good faith and an open agenda without any condition or reserve.

Dr Altwaijri also affirmed that the royal initiative is an important step toward solving the disputes and ensuring complementarity between two Member States of ISESCO which play a major role in promoting joint Islamic action.

ISESCO Director General expressed his hope that the lofty objectives of this initiative would be achieved so as to promote rapprochement and cooperation between the Moroccan and Algerian fraternal peoples.
