MoU between ISESCO and Arabic Language International Council signed
Today, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Arabic Language International Council, following the close of the opening session of the 7th International Arabic Language Conference, being held on 19-21 April 2018, under the high patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, ruler of Dubai. The MoU was signed for ISESCO by its Director General, Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, and for the Council by its Secretary General, Dr Ali Abdullah Mussa.
The MoU provides for cooperation in areas relating to promoting the teaching of Arabic, and preserving the Arab and Islamic identity in such a way as to make use of knowledge in Arabic, and anchor the presence of the Arab Islamic culture among the world civilizations.
