Saudi Arabia Education Minister receives ISESCO Director General
The Minister of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al-Issa, today afternoon in his office at the Ministry headquarters, received the Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, and together they discussed ways to promote and expand their cooperation relations.
During this audience, ISESCO Director General handed the Saudi Minister a report on the participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in ISESCO’s activities from 2013 to end 2017. The two parties also reviewed the broad lines of the Three-Year Action Plan for 2019-2021 and the Organization’s responsibilities in overseeing the organization of the ministerial conferences of education, culture, higher education and scientific research, and environment.
On this occasion, Dr Altwaijri expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Highness the Crown Prince for their country’s sustained support to ISESCO to enable it to discharge its civilizational mission in service of joint Islamic action.
