Memorandum of international cooperation between ISESCO and King Abdulaziz University in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed
A memorandum of international cooperation between the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and King Abdulaziz University (KAU) was signed today in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The memorandum was co-signed by Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, ISESCO Director General, Secretary General of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), and Dr Abdulrahman Obaid Al-Youbi, KAU President.
The memorandum aims to achieve fruitful and constructive cooperation in the academic, scientific, research, training, cultural and developmental fields through carrying out joint projects in these fields and coordinating exchange programmes of students, faculty members, and researchers of both parties.
The memorandum also provides for exchanging expertise in the field of academic, institutional and programmatic accreditation in such a manner as to achieve self-development, as well as academic accreditation in the various programmes of the two parties, cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the fields of developing laboratories’ infrastructure, modern technologies, and electronic and distance learning.
