ISESCO and Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities sign agreement on holding Extraordinary Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers in Manama in November 2018
Today in Manama, an agreement was signed between the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities on the organizational arrangements for holding the Extraordinary Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers in Manama, on 28-29 November 2018, under the high patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, and convening the 16th Meeting of the Consultative Council for Cultural Development in the Islamic World, on 18-19 September 2018, in Manama.
The agreement was signed for ISESCO by its Director General, Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, and for the Authority by its President, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa.
It is worth mentioning that the King of Bahrain, yesterday at Safriya Palace in Manama, had received Dr Altwaijri and the delegations taking part in the ceremony marking the launch of Muharraq’s celebration as the Arab region’s Islamic Culture Capital.
Furthermore, ISESCO Director General had participated in the ceremony that was held yesterday in Muharraq, Kingdom of Bahrain, to mark the launch of Muharraq’s celebration as the Arab region’s Islamic Culture Capital for 2018 and delivered an address on this occasion.
