Nomination Deadline for FUIW Prize 2017, extended
Given the growing number of nominations submitted to the ISESCO-affiliated Federation of Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW) Prize 2017, and in order to provide more opportunities for researchers to submit their research works on the theme: “Universities’ Duty as Part of Promoting Middle Stance and Tolerance and Countering the Extremism Phenomenon”, the Prize Secretariat announces the extension of the deadline to send the nomination applications until 31 January 2018.
The Prize is part of FUIW’s efforts to promote scientific research, link it to the development and civilization needs of the Islamic world, and encourage scientists and researchers in the FUIW Member Universities to showcase their efforts and diligences.
The Prize is divided into two categories; the first category will be awarded to the best researchers for their research works during their scientific career or to a research institution with outstanding scientific and field efforts within the Prize’s theme. The second category will be awarded to the best research or experiment within the Prize’s theme.
The Prize is awarded in cooperation between FUIW and Al Imam Muhammed Ibn Saud Islamic University.
