Guinea President receives ISESCO Director General
The President of the Republic of Guinea, Mr Alpha Condé, this evening in Conakry, received the Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri. During this audience, Dr Altwaijri expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Guinean President for his country’s support to Islamic joint action and ISESCO in particular and praised the excellent cooperation relations between ISESCO and the competent parties in the Republic of Guinea. For his part, President Condé welcomed ISESCO Director General and thanked him for participating in the official ceremony that took place in Conakry to celebrate the World Arabic Language Day and the city’s selection as the World Book Capital for 2017. He also commended Dr Altwaijri’s efforts at the head of ISESCO and the achievements of the Organization in its fields of competence, while reiterating his country’s support to ISESCO to carry on its civilizational mission in the Islamic world.
