Euro-Arab Studies Center awards its Shield to ISESCO Director General to reward his efforts in disseminating dialogue, tolerance and coexistence values

The President of the Center for Euro-Arab Studies (CEEA), Dr Saleh Ben Bakr Al-Tayar, today evening in Paris, awarded the Center’s Shield to Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), in the presence of His Highness Prince Turki Al Faysal bin Abdelaziz Al Saud; Dr Moufid Shehab, President of the CEEA Board of Trustees; and a host of experts and politicians from the Arab world and France, in recognition of his efforts in the promotion of intercultural dialogue, alliance of civilizations, coexistence among followers of religions to establish security and entrench tolerance and coexistence values.

During the Symposium (Paris 5) held today in Paris by the CEEA to celebrate its silver jubilee, Dr Altwaijri delivered an address at the opening session. He also made a presentation at the working session on “the Arab World Cultural and Media Challenges and the Role of Study Centers and Specialized Councils in addressing them”.
