Launch of TAFAHUM Programme for student exchange between some universities of ISESCO Member States
The TAFAHUM Programme for Exchange of Students between some universities of the Member States of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) will start on 18 September 2017 through December 2017.
During this year, eighteen students (Master’s degree) in the fields of Science and Technology, Engineering, and Business and Management, from Abdelmalek Essaadi University, Mohammed V University and Ibn Tofail University in the Kingdom of Morocco; Cheikh Anta Diop University in the Republic of Senegal; Félix Houphouët-Boigny University in Cote d’Ivoire; and the University of Nouakchott in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania from this programme which is being implemented by ISESCO in partnership with the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) and the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW).
The TAFAHUM Programme, adopted by the 7th Islamic Conference of Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Rabat, December 2014), is aimed at boosting academic cooperation between the Islamic world universities, bringing academic communities closer together, and sharing experiences and good practices in terms of training and research.
