ISESCO and AFVA to hold Arab Forum for Volunteering Leaders

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Arab Federation for Voluntary Activities (AFVA) will hold the Arab Forum for Volunteering Leaders, on 6-8 April 2016 in Salé, Morocco, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sport and the Education and Development Association of the Kingdom of Morocco.

The forum will bring together 50 volunteering leaders from the following Member States: Morocco, Mauritania, Algeria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the Sudan and Kuwait.

The forum aims to spread the culture of volunteering, anchor civic values among young leaders of volunteering organizations, examine ways to advance young volunteers’ competences and initiatives, increase the number of volunteers, exchange expertise and experiences among the representatives of volunteering in Arab countries, and promote cooperation ties among them.

The forum will kick off at ISESCO headquarters, on 6 April 2017 and continue its working sessions at Moulay Rashid National Sport Center in Salé.
