A joint venture of Morocco’s Communication Ministry and the OIC, Marrakech: ISESCO to take part in media forum to project huge potential of Africa
The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) is taking part in a media forum on Africa, to be held in association between the Moroccan Ministry of Communication and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), in Marrakech from 17 through 19 December 2015, under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
Being carried out in furtherance of a recommendation by the 9th Islamic Conference of Information Ministers (Libreville, 19-20 April 2012), the forum aims to project a positive image of Africa through media in the continent and beyond, highlighting the full potential of African countries on the trade, investment, transaction, ST, tourism and living standard promotion levels.
Gathering in the forum will be a host of Foreign Service members, representatives of information and communication ministries of the OIC member states, African and Islamic donors, OIC member states’ broadcasting institutions, media outlets in African states non-members of the OIC, along with world-class information and communication experts.
Mr Najib Rhiati, Director of Education, will represent ISESCO in this activity.
