Al-Quds Programmes Unit:
It shall undertake the following tasks:

Establish contact with all organizations and institutions concerned with the cause of Al-Quds in order to introduce them to its programmes and consult with them about coordination of efforts and joint cooperation;

Propose ways and means to secure the necessary financial resources for Al-Quds-related programmes;

Coordinate and follow up the implementation of programmes relating to cultural property in Al-Quds;

Prepare the Director General's reports on the Unit’s activities, for submission to the Executive Council and the General Conference;
-
Undertake any other task that may be entrusted to it by the Director General in connection with Al-Quds.
Catastrophes and Emergency Cases Unit:
It shall have the following mission:

Establish contact with states, organizations and cooperating parties concerned with providing relief, aid and support to the disaster-stricken countries or those facing emergency cases, and consult with them about coordination of efforts and joint cooperation;

Coordinate and follow up the implementation of ISESCO’s programmes geared to disaster-stricken Member States and those facing emergency cases;

Propose the means to offer support to aid and relief programmes, and devise the mechanisms likely to bring aid to stricken regions, in coordination with the competent parties in the Member States, particularly National Commissions;

Prepare the Director General’s reports on the Unit’s activities, for submission to the Executive Council and the General Conference.
