Senior Vice-President of the Islamic Council in Niger Visits ISESCO
Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, the Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), today in his office, received Sheikh Mohamed Ag Ahmadou Chafiou, Head of the Nigerien Association of Islamic Fraternity and Senior Vice-President of the Islamic Council. He also received Dr Abdellah ben Idriss Aboubakr Miga, Dean of Sharia and Islamic Studies Faculty at the Islamic University of Niger.
During this meeting, talks centered on Islamic issues of common interest. They also focused on the educational, cultural and religious conditions of Muslims in the African continent and ways to boost cooperation between ISESCO, the Islamic Council and the Islamic University of Niger.
