ISESCO to honour Moroccan Hasna Khoulali, winner of international Quran cantillation competition
The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) will hold a ceremony at its permanent headquarters in Rabat, on Wednesday 5 Ramadan 1433 (25 July 2012), morning, to honour Moroccan Hasna Khoulali, winner of the international competition in Quran cantillation which was recently organized in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, ISESCO Director General, will preside over this ceremony in honour of Hasna Khoulali and will offer her ISESCO's medal and an appreciation certificate in recognition of her outstanding achievement.
It is worth mentioning that ISESCO devotes special care to the memorization and cantillation of the Holy Quran as well as to Quranic schools by developing their working methods and training their teachers in Member States and among Muslims outside the Islamic world. ISESCO also encourages and honours creative and distinguished youth in the area of Islamic culture.
