ISESCO participates in ICECSA’s meetings in Jeddah
The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) is taking part in the meetings of the 34th session of the OIC Islamic Committee for Economic, Cultural and Social Affairs (ICECSA), in Jeddah, over the period from 24 to 26 April 2011. The representatives of the OIC Member States as well as of its Subsidiary and Specialized Organs are also participating in this session. ISESCO is represented in this session by Dr Ahmed Said Ould Bah, the Supervisor of External Relations and Cooperation Directorate, who will present a report on ISESCO’s activities implemented between the 33rd and 34th sessions of ICECSA, as part of the OIC Ten-Year Programme of Action To Meet the Challenges Facing the Muslim Ummah in the 21st Century, adopted by the 3rd Extraordinary Islamic Summit Conference, which was held in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in 2005.
