Therapeutic Implications of Cloning

Human nuclear transfer could have important therapeutic implications such as development of appropriate stem cell cultures for repairing human tissues and development of organs for transplantation. It could also provide insights into how to induce regeneration of damaged human tissues. It may also be used to overcome transfer of mitochondrial diseases and treatment of very severe cases of infertility.
