| Mr. Ahmed Khchichen, Minister of National Education, Higher Education, Staff Training and Scientific Research in the Kingdom of Morocco gave an address at the opening of the 29th session of the Executive Council of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization -ISESCO-, which took place this morning at the permanent headquarters of ISESCO, in the presence of Dr, Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, Director General of the Organization, Dr. Abbas Al Jirari, Adviser to his Majesty King of Morocco, and Dr. Boubaker Doukouré, Chairman of the Executive Council, along with members of the diplomatic circle as well as scientific and cultural personalities and media figures. | |

| Dr. Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, the Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), said that the achievements of the Organizations and the major steps that have been taken to attain progress and renovation, keeping pace with new developments in educational and scientific curricula, helped build the stature of ISESCO as a specialized organ with commanding credibility at the Islamic and international levels. He added that “this huge success we have achieved places considerable responsibilities upon us, and opens up infinite horizons for us to attain the educational, scientific and cultural objectives of our Islamic Ummah and humanity at large.” | |

| The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Granada Institution for Publishing and Educational Services, in coordination with the International Peace University of South Africa, will hold a training session to modernize the methods of teaching Arabic as a foreign language. The session will be hosted by the International Peace University of South Africa, based in Cape Town, from 7 to 11 July. | |
